Text messages
GiveBack Live is fundraising software, operated by Platinum Rule Consulting LLC, that nonprofit organizations use to run auctions, raffles and giving at their fundraising events. Texts are sent on behalf of the nonprofit hosting the event, so its name — not ours — is what appears on the opt-in and in the message.
Each event has its own registration page, and that page is where an attendee opts in. This page shows that opt-in exactly as it is presented, with Community Hope Foundation standing in for the nonprofit.
How an attendee opts in
A mobile number is asked for because it is how an attendee's account is found if they switch phones. Giving it texts nobody anything: the box below is separate, unchecked, and not a condition of registering. Someone who leaves it alone still registers, still bids, and gets their sign-in code by email instead.
Registration form, as shown to an attendee
This is how we find your account if you switch phones. Your sign-in code comes by email unless you ask for texts below.
By continuing you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
What was agreed to is stored against the attendee with a timestamp, in the wording shown above.

Message frequency varies with the event — typically a handful of messages during the few hours it runs, and nothing between events. Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping messages
Reply STOP to any message to stop them. Reply HELP for help, or write to support@mygivebackhub.org. Un-ticking the box on the event page has the same effect for that event.
